Peer Review Process

Ensuring Academic Rigor Through Double-Blind Peer Review

To maintain the highest quality and scientific integrity of published research, all manuscripts submitted to Horizon Research Publishing (HRPUB) undergo a rigorous peer review policy. Our journals utilize a Double-Blind Peer Review model, which ensures that both the reviewer and author identities are kept completely anonymous throughout the process.

Key Overview of the Review Policy
Step-by-Step Workflow

The standard timeline and workflow for evaluation consists of the following consecutive stages:

Step 1: Submission The author uploads the complete manuscript along with a blinded version (with no author details) via our unified Online Submission system.
Step 2: Editorial Audit The internal editorial team checks for plagiarism, adherence to guidelines, and general academic tone. Submissions with excessive overlap or weak scope are desk-rejected immediately.
Step 3: Peer Review The paper is distributed to external peer reviewers. Reviewers evaluate the scientific quality, pointing out technical gaps, statistical accuracy, and reference relevance.
Step 4: Evaluation Report Reviewers submit formal critique reports advising the Editorial Board to either accept the paper, request minor/major revisions, or completely reject it.
Step 5: Final Verdict The Editor-in-Chief assesses the reviewers' feedback and issues a final notification to the corresponding author. Revised papers undergo re-evaluation to ensure all requirements are satisfied.
Expectations for Reviewers

Reviewers are required to disclose any potential conflict of interest prior to evaluating a submission. They are expected to deliver constructive, objective, and unbiased feedback within the assigned timeline to preserve a rapid publishing lifecycle.
